From January - June 2024 we finished the New Testament and read Romans 1 through Revelation. From July - November 2024 we read Genesis 1 to Leviticus 27. We read Luke in December 2024.

Through the Bible by reading a chapter-most-days study template began in the New Testament with the Book of Matthew.

In January 2025 we took a detour to follow up December's reading of Luke with Acts.

We went back to the regulary readings February - December 2025, Numbers 1 - Ezra 10.

Future and Past chapter-a-day Bible reading schedules.

We read one-chapter-most days because it's fast enough to keep one engaged and feeling like you're making progress, yet slow enough to give you time to absorb and share or think about what you've just read.

To the right ( or below) is the rest of our current reading schedule in the Old Testament. It's a faster pace than previous months due to the fact we are growing older and hope to complete reading through the entire Bible together. If you are beginning to read, we suggest you begin in the New Testament with the 4 Gospels then read through the New Testament (scroll down to July 2023, where we began Matthew.) Once you complete the New Testament, you'll be amazed how much more alive the Old Testament is! Using a good cross-reference Bible will really enhance your experience..

A warning: we're using an old website builder/editor of our provider. If you ever find the last month's calendar still on the home page, If you'll be able to keep up reading for at least a month. Realistically, the day will come when we're no longer able to do this. But we'll try to keep it on-line as long as possible. Meanwhile, feel free to take screen shots of the calendars to use as templates for yourself. We old folks like the idea of leaving a legacy.
